Snorkeling with Turtles and Cenote Hiking

The day begins early in Akumal, a picturesque coastal village on the Riviera Maya. After a short walk to the beach, we encounter the gentle giants of the sea: the sea turtles. Equipped with snorkel, mask, and fins, we glide into the crystal-clear water. Snorkeling in Akumal is a unique experience. The turtles swim peacefully in their natural habitat, grazing on the seabed and occasionally coming to the surface for air. In addition to the turtles, colorful coral reefs and a variety of tropical fish offer an impressive underwater panorama.
Lunch: Authentic Street Tacos
After the snorkeling adventure, hunger sets in. Fortunately, Akumal offers a variety of delicious street food. We head to a small yet popular taco stand. Here, we enjoy freshly prepared tacos with various fillings – from juicy carne asada and spicy al pastor to freshly caught fish. The tacos are served with fresh herbs, onions, and a selection of spicy salsas. Accompanying the meal are ice-cold horchata or a refreshing lemonade – the perfect refreshment on a warm day.
Afternoon: Hike through a Semi-Flooded Cenote
Well-fed and full of energy, we continue our excursion and head to a nearby cenote. These underground limestone sinkholes are typical of the region and offer a fascinating experience. Equipped with waterproof footwear and flashlights, we begin our hike into the semi-flooded cenote. The crystal-clear, turquoise water, impressive stalactites and stalagmites, and the mysterious atmosphere make us lose track of time. The water is pleasantly cool and refreshing, and in some spots, we can even take a revitalizing dip.

BOOKING
To confirm a booked tour, you will receive a confirmation email immediately after booking. Our calendar gives you an overview of available dates. Deposit We charge a deposit for a binding booking. The rest is then to be paid in cash on site. If you would like to request a tour without obligation, please contact us. Cancellation policy It may happen that the excursion has to be canceled due to bad weather (strong wind and waves). If the tour cannot be rescheduled to another date, we will of course refund the deposit paid. Unfortunately, we cannot pay for any other costs incurred. However, we will gladly make every effort to provide substitute services. We will also try to inform you as early as possible of any cancelations. In the following situations the deposit will be refunded:
- You cancel the tour at least 5 days before the start.
- Cancellations less than 5 days before the start: If the excursion cannot be started for whatever reason, please contact us immediately. If we are able to allocate the seats elsewhere, we will check whether a refund is possible as a gesture of goodwill. In the worst case we have to charge the full price.
With the booking we note your contact details to be able to contact you in case of changes.
TRANSPORT
Playa del Carmen, Punta Maroma, Akumal (up to “Grand Bahia Principe”) In this area, we will pick you up directly from your hotel or accommodation for all our excursions. If you are staying in the hotel zone or the center of Tulum, a pick-up for the excursion “Sian Ka’an” is possible without any problems. For the excursion “Ek Balam” the pick up is also possible up to and including Tulum center. For all other tours we can pick you up in outlying areas for an additional fee. Puerto Morelos, Cancun, Costa Mujeres For the excursions “Swimming with whale sharks” and “Catamaran Isla Mujeres” we will be happy to pick you up at your hotel. For all other tours there is the possibility of pick up for an extra charge, alternatively we can arrange a meeting point in Playa del Carmen. Ein mega Ausflug mit Otonio …durch unseren frühen Start waren wir in Akkumal bei den Schildkröten die ersten die im Wasser waren…zudem unser Glück gewesen ist das an diesem Tag nur ein weiteres Pärchen dabei war…ein weiteres Highliht die Cenote die privat war…das wir so über Reiseveranstalter nie bekommen hätten….hier auch mein absoluter Dank an Otonio der uns sicher durch diese Cenote führte…ich kann jedem ans Herz legen ..bucht über diese Plattform..es ist alles sehr gut organisiert…ihr werdet nicht enttäuscht sein…wir kommen wieder uns buchen sicher weitere Ausflüge mit euch….

Das Highlight unserer Mexiko Reise!
Wir wurden pünktlich abgeholt und waren die Ersten bei den Schildkröten. Die meiste Zeit war unsere kleine Gruppe von nur 4 Personen allein im Wasser. Wir haben sehr viele Schildkröten und einen kleinen Rochen gesehen. Anschließend haben wir eine halbgeflutete Cenote besucht, welche sich in Privatbesitz befindet. Fern ab von jeglichem Tourismus! Die Cenote war unglaublich schön, fast schon unreal! Ich würde jedoch Wasserschuhe empfehlen. Der Besitzer selbst hat uns durch die Cenote geführt und uns viele interessante Informationen vermittelt, welche unser Guide übersetzt hat.
An der Stelle noch einmal vielen Dank an unseren Guide Oto! Er lebt für seinen Job und hat diese Tour wirklich perfekt gemacht. Durch seine Art war es eher ein Ausflug mit Freunden, als eine Tour für Touristen.
Wir haben insgesamt 4 Ausflüge über “Deutsche Ausflüge Mexiko” gebucht und können nur sagen: Jeder Ausflug war wunderschön aber dieser war unser absoluter Favorit!

Wir haben Ende Februar diesen tollen Ausflug mit unserer 5 jährigen Tochter gemeinsam gemacht und waren alle begeistert. Der Ausflug war sicher eines der Highlights unseres Urlaubs. Oto hat uns pünktlich vom Hotel abgeholt und wir waren vor allen anderen Touristen total entspannt und fast alleine mit den Schildkröten schnorcheln. Wir haben nicht nur Schildkröten, sondern auch unterschiedliche Rochen und ganz viele bunte Fische gesehen. Es war super entspannt. Nach dem Schnorchelausflug geht es auch gleich weiter in eine Unterwassercenote, also einer Tropfsteinhöhle, in der man durch den Fluss geht und auch baden kann. Der Besitzer der Cenote ist auch super sympathisch und man merkt, dass ihm die Cenote und die Natur am Herzen liegen. Es war so spannend und abwechslungsreich in dieser traumhaften Cenote und das Beste ist, dass man wirklich ganz alleine dort ist. Wenn das Licht ausgemacht wird ist es ganz still und stockfinster. Am liebsten wäre ich noch ewig auf seinem Grundstück geblieben, weil es auch mitten im Urwald ist und es einfach total entschleunigend war. Wir können die Tour nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen und sagen nochmal danke an Oto, dass er das so toll macht. Wir haben auch den Chichen Itza Ausflug mit Viktor (auch ein Danke an Viktor) gemacht und auch dieser war bestens organisiert, super abwechslungsreich (die Cenote, in der man schwimmen geht ist so schön!) und das Wissen von Viktor ist unglaublich! Also unbedingt über “Deutsche Ausflüge Mexiko” Touren buchen! Da passt wirklich alles!

Was eine traumhafte Tour!!!!
Es ist alles perfekt organisiert, durch die kleine Gruppe wird man stets sehr persönlich betreut und die Locations sind ein absoluter Traum!!!! Auch für kleinere Kinder super geeignet. Unsere 6 jährige Tochter hatte einen riesen Spaß auf der gesamten Tour und hat Oto richtig ins Herz geschlossen! Die Cenote auf einem Privatgrundstück ist fast noch beeindruckender als das Schwimmen mit den Riesenschildkröten…. Aber nur fast 😉
Wir können Jedem nur raten lieber hier als über einen großen Veranstalter zu buchen!!!

ein toller Ausflug!
Wir wurden pünktlich abgeholt und waren die Ersten bei den Schildkröten. Wir waren nur zu zweit mit unseren Guide Ata. Wir haben viele Schildkröten und einen kleinen Rochen gesehen. Als wir fertig waren, kamen die Touristen Massen. Anschließend haben wir eine private Cenote besucht.Fern ab von jeglichem Tourismus! Die Cenote war unglaublich schön. Wasserschuhe sind aber empfehlenswert. Der Besitzer selbst hat uns durch die Cenote geführt. Das war so interessant. Danach gab es noch Mittagessen.

Der Veranstalter war super flexibel und wir haben recht spontan den Ausflug gebucht. Unser Guide Oto hat uns super durch den Tag geführt und uns viele zusätzlichen Infos gegeben. Das Schnorcheln mit den Schildkröten war mein absolutes Highlight, da wir durch unsere frühe Ankunftszeit eine gute Weile alleine im Wasser waren. Auch die Cenotentour und das Essen war fantastisch. Danke an Oto, dass er uns einen so tollen Ausflug ermöglicht hat.
