Hotel zones in CancĂșn and Riviera Maya: What the pickup costs and why
Almost all of our unserer AusflĂŒge include hotel pick-up. That’s why we’ve divided all hotel zones in CancĂșn and the Riviera Maya into clearly defined areas. This applies whether you’re staying in Playa del Carmen, Tulum, or further north towards CancĂșn. Please note: The pick-up price may vary depending on the exact location of your hotel.
Why the hotel zone influences the price
Northern zones of the CancĂșn hotel zone along the coast
The northern zones extend from Playa del Carmen Centro and Playacar, through Puerto Morelos, all the way up to CancĂșn. Generally, the further north your hotel is located, the higher the surcharge will be, as the travel distance increases accordingly. Hotels in the Playacar area or around Ocean Maya Royale are usually still in the most affordable northern zone. Accommodations closer to CancĂșn, on the other hand, fall into a higher price category.
Southern zones towards Tulum in the Riviera Maya
South of Playa del Carmen, roughly in the direction of Tulum, there are also several zones with tiered pricing for pickups. Simply select the appropriate southern zone when booking to ensure the correct price is applied.
Is your hotel not listed in the Zona Hotelera?
Since new hotels and resorts are constantly being built along the Riviera Maya, your accommodation may not yet be on the list. In this case, simply contact us directly. We will then assign your hotel to the appropriate zone and provide you with the corresponding price for pickup.
